Statistics
Several statistics monitor your characters capabilities and their relationships with others and the colony. In addition to skills, statuses, and a genetic enhancement, your character has four primary statistics: Stress, rebellion, kudos, and friendship with each of your peers.
Stress[edit | edit source]
Stress measures the weight of effort and events on your mental and physical health, and your need to take a break and relax. Having a low stress can allow you to push through challenges that you would otherwise fail at the cost of increased Stress. Stress increases each time you work or study by various amounts, and after each event while on expedition by 15. Stress can also be increased by certain other events. Having 100 Stress will prevent you from performing most activities other than resting and will end expeditions early. While some events can reduce stress, the main method of reducing stress is relaxing.
Rebellion[edit | edit source]
Rebellion measures your relationship with adults and the colony. A low Rebellion means your character mostly likes how the adults run things, while a high Rebellion means your character mostly wants to change how things are run. A low Rebellion means the adults in the colony are more likely to trust you, and can be required for certain choices. Many events in the game increase or decrease Rebellion
Kudos[edit | edit source]
Kudos are received as a reward for performing important jobs or otherwise helping out around the colony, and can be used to request luxuries from the supply depot. They range between 0 and 999, and can also be increased by completing challenges or reduced by doing things you're not meant to.
Friendship[edit | edit source]
You have a Friendship score between 0 and 100 with each of your peers and with one secret character. Friendship is important for progressing each character's personal story, and may also be useful in other events. You can increase Friendship by 1 with most characters by gifting them a collectable once per month, or by 2 if it's a collectable they like. If they dislike it, you will instead decrease Friendship with them by 1. If you give a gift on their birthday, this will double the bonus, but not the penalty. Other events can also increase or decrease Friendship with certain characters.
